Mt. Alice cabin 2 of 3

I almost hesitate to write this review for fear that these amazing cabins will be fully booked the next time I return with friends—but they truly deserve the praise. We stayed in the Mt. Alice cabin, and everything exceeded our expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were spotless and well-equipped, and the front yard was simply stunning. One of the highlights was the large gazebo with a central firepit, thoughtfully built by the host. We spent our evenings gathered around the fire, enjoying fresh fish dinners and great conversation under the Alaskan sky. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always nearby if we needed anything, yet gave us plenty of space to relax and unwind. If you're planning a trip to Seward, do yourself a favor and book one of these cabins—you won’t regret it!

This place was more than we had hoped for!! It is not far from town but isolated at the same time for privacy and relaxing. Loved the covered fire pit and cooking area. I would highly recommend this place!

Well-appointed, comfortable cabin. Nice streaming TV setup. Rodney graciously rolled with some changes in our schedule early on. Those changes resulted in my needing a refund for one night, but the hosts weren’t able to do that thru the Vrbo system, which was not the greatest situation for my finances. We figured it out once I got to the property, and I consider this a teeny tiny note. The cabin is lovely! It just seemed kind of un-Vrbo to not be able to get a refund thru the system.

Very cozy cabin, great to spend some days with family!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our cabin was pristine with so many well thought out details. Everything from the decorating (beautiful art!) to where the outlets were placed and even the spice rack - we appreciated all of it! Super comfy for the 3 of us and my teenager enjoyed having the loft to himself. We took full advantage of the outdoor space - enjoying the swing and having a firepit every night. The grill came in handy to cook the fish we caught earlier that day. The beds were so comfy - we wanted to stay! We will be back for sure and that is the ultimate compliment to the hosts and this lovely retreat that they've created.
